ListingTalk / community

The house rules.

Talk about the property, not the people.

Good takes are welcome.

A beautiful room, an unusual layout, a difficult driveway, or a price you would not pay can all start a useful conversation. Present opinions as opinions. Correct mistakes when better information appears.

Keep residents out of it.

Do not name or identify occupants, post their contact details, share access codes or security arrangements, or speculate about their finances, relationships, motives, or personal lives. A public listing is not permission to expose the people connected to it.

Disagree without attacking.

No threats, harassment, slurs, discriminatory housing commentary, or exclusionary statements about who should live in a home or neighborhood. No unsupported allegations of crimes, unsafe conditions, fraud, or concealed defects. Use reliable public evidence for factual claims and report urgent concerns through appropriate channels.

Use photos and words you can share.

Only upload photographs you own or are authorized to publish. Publicly visible listing photographs are not automatically yours to reuse. Do not paste full listing descriptions, private emails, or another person's private messages.

No hidden sales pitch.

No spam, impersonation, undisclosed self-promotion, review manipulation, or multiple accounts used to inflate reactions. Disclose a relevant personal or professional connection when commenting on your own listing.

Privacy follows the conversation.

Private notes belong to their author. Private rooms are for joined members only. Do not share screenshots or quote a private conversation elsewhere without the participants' permission.

Moderation is part of the product.

Use Report for content concerns. Moderators can hide content, request corrections, reject photos, restrict accounts, or merge duplicate public property discussions. Reports are reviewed by a human; the service is not staffed as a 24-hour emergency channel. Contact support for a correction, appeal, or urgent privacy request.
